Updates on Banco Master
Dias Toffoli stepped down from the case, but let me explain.
Federal authorities found references to a payment of around 20 million reais to a company linked to Toffoli (yes, one of the ministers judging the case) on Daniel Vorcaro’s cellphone There were also messages and phone calls exchanged between them, Toffoli explained that he is a partner in a company called Maridt, which later became associated with Tayayá Resort (and guess who owns that? Yep, Daniel Vorcaro).
Basically, these connections are not making the minister or the Supreme Court look great. After a 03 hour meeting, Toffoli decided to step down, and now André Mendonça is the new rapporteur leading the investigation.

No More “Zen Lulinha”
The president said he is ready for a fight in this year’s elections and that it will be war. The message is loud and clear: 2027 is still supposed to be Lula as president (at least that’s the plan).
This shift happened after recent polls showed that Flávio Bolsonaro might actually have a real chance. The latest survey showed 44.8% support for Lula versus 42% for Flávio, which was enough to make the government rethink its strategy.
So what should we expect now? A stronger narrative from the government’s side. Translation: PT is about to show up on your timeline a lot more often.
