Chappell Roan, Jorginho and a hotel misunderstanding
On Saturday, March 21, Chappell Roan was set to headline Lollapalooza 2026. The singer was staying at the same hotel as Catherine, the wife of Jorginho (Flamengo player), along with her daughter Ada, who is 11 years old and a big fan of Chappell.
During breakfast, Ada decided to walk past Chappell’s table to check if it was really her. Shortly after returning, a security guard approached Catherine and started explaining that she should not allow her daughter to “harass” other guests.
On Sunday, Chappell Roan posted on Instagram saying she didn’t see anything, didn’t ask anyone to intervene, and was simply enjoying her breakfast. According to her, the security guard was likely a hotel employee, not part of her team.
Catherine also shared her side of the story, saying she wasn’t sure who the security guard worked for, but confirmed he was not from the hotel.
Later, Pascal Duvier, the security guard involved, posted a statement explaining that he acted on his own. He said it was a “judgment call” based on potential security risks and that he was not part of Chappell Roan’s crew.
Now, the internet is speculating that he might actually be linked to Sabrina Carpenter’s team, but by then, the damage was already done. Chappell Roan became the center of negative headlines and received a wave of online criticism.
